Is this true?<\/p>\n<p>Is it possible that in the hands of the upper echelons of Finance, appointed by the current government, the valuable information provided by the public is being used to help the biggest evaders sneak away, rather than to prosecute corruption, just as happened in the case of Bot\u00edn and the 558 other names denounced by the public, by finance specialists and <a href=\"http:\/\/politica.elpais.com\/politica\/2014\/11\/07\/actualidad\/1415379969_591570.html\" target=\"_blank\">even a judge<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p><strong>This is what we&#8217;re going to find out.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Therefore,<\/p>\n<p>The Working Group against Corruption in Catalonia, formed by <strong>Xnet<\/strong> and <strong>XnetLeaks<\/strong>, <strong>David Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>, as president of the Parliamentary Commission on the Pujol Case, <strong>15MpaRato<\/strong>, <strong>Caf\u00e9 amb Llet<\/strong>, the <strong>FAVB<\/strong> and with the counsel of <strong>Ra\u00fal Burillo<\/strong> and of the <strong>Anti-Corruption Commission of the X Party<\/strong>, as announced at the press conference in the Parliament of Catalonia on Thursday, and with the invaluable assistance of the <strong>CUP<\/strong>, asks for the following information from the Parliamentary Commission on the Pujol Case, which meets this Monday, 26th of January:<\/p>\n<h3>A \u2013 Connections with networks from other cases<\/h3>\n<p>We ask for an appearance by the representatives of some of the familiar names, such as <strong>Banco Santander<\/strong> and <strong>Bankia<\/strong>, who decided to sell their background offices, in control of the Pujols.<\/p>\n<p>We ask for the appearance of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom:15px;\">The head of Caja Madrid in 2008: the banker <em><strong>Miguel Blesa de la Parra<\/strong><\/em>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom:15px;\">The banker <strong><em>Alfredo S\u00e1enz<\/em><\/strong>, banker for <em>Bot\u00edn<\/em>, pardoned by <strong>Zapatero<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[<strong>Reason<\/strong>: In 2007, Oleguer Pujol executed a murky operation, currently under investigation by the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor for presumably being used to launder money of illicit origin, hidden in Channel Islands. <\/p>\n<p>This operation, at the minimum, consisted of buying 1152 offices at Banco Santander for over 2,177 million euros, employing in that concern the direction of his parents through the Samos General Services society, a company with no employee in charge located in the Netherlands Antilles and Luxembourg.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately responsible for this cloudy operation by the Banco Santander is Alfredo S\u00e1enz Abad, the banker who pardoned Zapatero (the day before leaving office) for participating in a crime with Judge Estevill- curiously the same judge, a close associate of Jordi Pujol Soley, who often ruled in his favour, also convicted for perpetuating falsehoods. But the CV of Alfredo S\u00e1enz Abad is much more extensive. He was CEO (1983 &#8211; 1986) of Banca Catalana and oversaw its rescue after having been acquired by Banco Vizcaya. Whereupon, the circle of favours closes. Alfredo S\u00e1enz Abad has a lot to answer for, and therefore we ask for his appearance at the Parliamentary Commission on the Pujol Case. The network, presumably controlled by the Pujol clan, used for this murky move, allegedly laundering the profits of political corruption, also acquired 105 offices at Bankia for nearly 100 million euros.]<\/p>\n<p>In addition:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom:15px;\"><strong><em>Germ\u00e0 Gord\u00f3<\/em><\/strong>, Minister of Justice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>B \u2013 Investigation by the prosecution.<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom:15px;\"><strong><em>Alejandro Luz\u00f3n<\/em><\/strong>, prosecutor in 3 of the 4 open cases against the Pujol family.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom:15px;\"><strong><em>Fernando Maldonado<\/em><\/strong>, prosecutor in the ITV case.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom:15px;\">Prosecutor <em><strong>Carmen Launa<\/strong><\/em>, of the Madrid prosecution, authority on all information relating to HSBC, provided by Herv\u00e9 Falciani to the National Court, in which the names of the Pujols first appeared.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>C \u2013 Tax investigation<\/h3>\n<p><strong>We request the attendance of:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom:15px;\"><em><strong>Juan Manuel L\u00f3pez Carbajo<\/strong><\/em>, director of the Tax Office between May 2010 and June 2011, under the final government of Zapatero.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>In connection with any person from Pujol Ferrusola family<\/strong> or associations in which his participation is known, including those that have declared through their forms 720, 750, or through asset declarations or have been mentioned in any investigative report conducted about said individuals, <strong>we request from the AEAT (National Tax Agency)<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom:15px;\">A dump from its national database (BDN) of complete information on financial transactions, foreign exchange, commercial and invisible entries, external traffic, DUAS (Single Administrative Documents), forms 720, 750, along with other tax information contained in these databases.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom:15px;>Any complaint or information received and on-record, either from individuals or from International Tax Administrations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[<strong>Reason<\/strong>: In the question of money through fraud and in facing refusals to cooperate, both in Andorra and Switzerland, we will ask for a list of customs data from all companies linked to the Pujol family, and in addition, seek the cooperation of Eurofisc in tracking the movements of these companies throughout Europe, as Eurofisc also has a register of companies now considered to be fraudulent.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, as the bulk of asset investigation is focused on the children, the documentation at the AEAT is of special relevance: complete database, initiated file checks, filed tax returns, extraordinary adjustments, complaints received &#8230; as well as procedures related to inheritance tax.]<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve heard <strong><em>Crist\u00f3bal Montoro<\/em><\/strong> say in Parliament that they have been fiscally <a href=\"http:\/\/noticias.lainformacion.com\/espana\/montoro-reconoce-que-hacienda-investiga-a-pujol-desde-el-ano-2000_pvE3x4XqXkPjexXA4mmMH5\/\">investigating the Pujol clan since 2000<\/a>, while attempting to convince us of this statement, because he was Finance Minister at the time. If this is so, why are none of the sources we contacted aware of the official existence of any record?
